Are We Headed For A Stock Market Collapse? It's been over 16 years since the last global market crash with the debt bubble bursting in 2008, and we're well over due for a market correction. Rabbi Yaron Reuven (who also happens to be a former multimillionaire Wall Street hedge fund manager) says there's a Mishnah in Pirkei Avot chapter 3 by Rabbi Akiva that explains the market situation from the Highest vantage point: HaShem. Rabbi Akiva says, HaShem runs the world like a business, and extends credit to everyone, but just like in 2008, one day, HaShem is going to call in all the debts, and everyone will have to account for not just every dollar, but every action, and every inaction. It's important to do a self accounting to make sure our spiritual balance sheet is in the positive and our debts are as close to zero as possible.
