Is Sorcery Permitted In Judaism? Kabbalah, Witchcraft and Quick Fixes

Updated: Feb 13

Is Sorcery Permitted In Judaism? Anything quick is usually bad. Rabbi Yaron Reuven brings a warning about the dangers of witchcraft from Parashat Mishpatim and clarifies the difference between holy Kabbalah and the impurity of sorcery. Witchcraft, sorcery, tarot cards, palm reading, psychics, and anything associated with it is 100% forbidden in Judaism. Exodus 22:17 You shall permit a witch to live. But if it's forbidden, why do so many religious Jews go to these forbidden places?

Thank you so much! This is truly an important topic, especially nowadays with the strange fascinations with dark magics and the sort. I also just wanted to add - please of no offense to anyone - but that I saw that the verse from Exodus 22:17 said above that: you shall permit a witch to live. But the verse from Exodus should be: shall not permit a witch to live. I just wanted to be of help!

Thank you so much!!!
