Rabbi Yaron Reuven brings a few critical chiddushim from Parashat Korach that unfortunately many either forget, or don't know. One is that heretics usually turn to personal attacks in a debate rather than bringing a Torah source for their heresy. Another is that issues of Kedusha and Tikkun HaBrit are mentioned in every Parasha. Sometimes it's plainly clear from the verses, from Er and Onan wasting seed in Parashat Vayeshev, to the laws of morality in Parashat Kedoshim, or more subtle allusions in our Parasha, which we need help from the Jewish Sages to see, Tikkun HaBrit is a foundation of the Jewish people. And lastly this Parasha is proof that Gehinnom is longer than 12 months, as Korach and his followers are still in Gehinnom until this day.
"And when Moshe heard it, he fell on his face: And he spoke to Korach and his entire assembly saying, tomorrow HaShem will make known who is His, and who is the holy one." - Bamidbar 16:4-5
Meaning Korach accused Moshe Rabbeinu of immorality, and Moshe asked HaShem to prove to everyone he didn't violate his Brit, not by himself and not with anyone else!
