Rabbi Yaron Reuven tells a story about an Avrech whose house burned down and received a blessing for success from Rav Ovadia Yosef zt"l after turning down 200,000 shekels because it would have wasted an hour of Rav Ovadia's time learning Torah. Rav Ovadia told him, anyone that values Torah as much as you will surely be blessed, and he was right. When the value of Torah is priceless in Olam Haba, why waste time?
