Rishonim vs Manis Friedman - Parashat Terumah Heretics

Rabbi Yaron Reuven brings the commentary on this week's Torah portion, Parashat Terumah, from multiple Rishonim that clearly state: HaShem doesn't need anything. When we give for the sake of supporting Torah, we give for our own benefit, not HaShem. Today, Youtube's most popular "rabbis" like Manis Friedman have adopted a heretical ideology that "God needs you," attempting to humanize God. This "logical idea" gets thousands of views on YouTube, lots of book sales and speaking engagements, but the Torah is not a popularity contest, it's the word of HaShem. And saying God needs anything is 100% heresy.
