The Plagues of Egypt Explained - An Attack on Heresy

Why does HaShem call Himself the God that took the Children of Israel out of Egypt? To remind us of the Plagues of Egypt and that monumental event with millions of witnesses. Rabbi Yaron Reuven says the plagues of Egypt were specifically an attack on idolatry and heresy. And delving into each of the plagues of Egypt in Parashat Vaera this week & Parashat Bo next week, where we see each plague was to show how HaShem sees, and controls everything, from the greatest forces of nature and things beyond our comprehension, to the smallest microscopic creatures.
