Why We Learn Torah is much more than just memorizing statements and laws. While it may seem like a simple matter, many are surprised when they see someone who "used" to learn go off the derech. How can someone learn the Halachot, the Mishnah, the Sifra, the Sifre, the Tosefta, the Baraitot, the entire Oral Torah at that time, and when asked to give a eulogy, Rav Nachman still calls this person nothing more than a basket of books? How can it be?!!
